All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Begins Filming with New Cast and Chaos

The much-anticipated All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has officially begun filming in Seoul. The Korean zombie thriller, which became a global sensation in 2022, is returning with higher stakes, more chaos, and new characters. Fans can expect more intense action and emotional twists this time.

Season 2 continues the journey of Nam On-jo, the high school survivor from Season 1. Actress Park Ji-hu reprises her role, now portraying On-jo as a university student. However, normal life is short-lived as a fresh zombie outbreak grips the city. On-jo finds herself once again in the middle of a deadly fight for survival.

The new season also welcomes several fresh faces. Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, and Yoon Ga-i join the cast as resilient college seniors. Each has developed unique survival strategies, making them crucial allies or dangerous rivals in the growing crisis.

Adding a new dimension to the storyline is Roh Jae-won, who plays Han Du-seok. He is a key figure in the National Intelligence Service. His presence hints at deeper government involvement in the outbreak, possibly tied to secret experiments and hidden agendas.

Meanwhile, fan-favorite characters from the first season return to the screen. Yoon Chan-young as Cheong-san, Cho Yi-hyun as Nam-ra, and Lomon as Su-hyeok are all confirmed. The new episodes will explore how these characters are coping after the traumatic events at Hyosan High School.

Behind the camera, the original creative team is also back. Directors Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su return to lead the production. Writer Chun Sung-il, who adapted the original webtoon, is once again handling the script. Their return ensures the tone and storytelling style remain consistent with Season 1.

The first season was a massive global success. It recorded over 560 million viewing hours within 28 days of release. It also ranked in the Top 10 non-English shows across 90 countries. With filming now underway, Season 2 promises an even more gripping continuation of the zombie saga.
