Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Launched With 31% Faster CPU and Adreno 825 GPU

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is the latest high-performance chipset, built for gaming and AI-driven smartphones. It offers a 31% boost in CPU performance and a 49% improvement in GPU power compared to its predecessor. The chipset, developed using 4nm process technology, supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and 5G connectivity. Unlike the Snapdragon 8 Elite, this new chipset does not have custom Oryon cores.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will power upcoming gaming-focused smartphones from major brands. The first confirmed device with this chipset is the iQOO Z10 Turbo. Other brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Meizu are also expected to launch devices soon. This chipset brings flagship-level power to affordable gaming smartphones, making high-end features more accessible.

With its updated Hexagon NPU, this chipset delivers 44% better AI performance. It can handle complex AI tasks efficiently, making voice recognition, real-time translation, and AI-assisted photography faster.
