Fashion Designers Drop Hints of their inspiration for the Spring 2024 Edition

The New York Fashion Week is to commence this Friday and the designers have provided a sneak-peak into their collections. 

Michelle Ochs, chose a naked dress form as the teaser image for her directorial debut at Hervé Léger. Ochs’ design for body conscious aesthetic portrays the brand which is known for bandage dresses. 

A report mentioned, Sally LaPointe, who submitted a partially scratched-off lottery ticket with the accompanying message “…if I won the Mega Millions.” Perhaps the designer has something big planned for her Crosby Street takeover on Sept. 9, which will mark her return to the runway after a three-year hiatus.

Returning to the runway after exposing his collection that will clash 18th-century impressions with punk is none other than Jonathan Cohen. Philip Lim posted a picture of recycled cardboard boxed giving hints that the collection could revolve around sustainability. 

Whereas, the world of dance is shaping up to be a big influence with Spanish designer Alejandro Gomez Palomo looking to Flamenco and Christian Siriano and Hanako Maeda of Adeam both enamoured by ballet. “Fluidity and movement are key elements in the collection,” Maeda said, previewing a sketch of a swishy tulle gown in canary yellow.

In such schemes, many designers’ participating in the fashion week like Anna Sui and Sandy Liang, Markarian, Michael Kors have dropped hints to the fans waiting for the event impatiently. 

Fashion Designers dropping the hints has got fans and fashion curious designers and students all excited.
