In August 2025, Icon of the Seas met its spectacular sister ship, Star of the Seas, for the very first time at Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. MSC Cruises also raised the stakes with MSC World America, a 6,762-passenger colossus sailing Caribbean itineraries from Miami.

Carnival Cruise Line isn’t backing down either. In 2029, it will unveil the first of three ships carrying nearly 8,000 passengers; the most ambitious class in its history.
